My friend and came here for first time and we enjoyed it. How do you pass up trying in omelette named the drunken Viking omelette??? You don?t. Delicious and the cinnamon roll French toast was darn tasty as well. Very friendly staff. Glad we came and will be back.

My husband has been here previously but I hadn't they've re opened recently after a change of management, so keeping that in mind in my review, I'll try it again in a few months. The Good: Really spacious overall, the interior is nicely done and there are plenty of booths. The outside patio is also quite spacious. The parking lot is even large. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Clean. Although we came at a very slow time, everything seemed very clean. Cheap draftbeers. $3 Modelos, not bad. The Bad: Underwhelming menu. Very few options, although this is in part due to change of ownership and they sound like they're revamping their menu. The food. Although my husband liked the chili cheese friesand BBQ wings, I got a cheese quesadilla and it's pretty difficult to get a bad cheese quesadilla but, but I did. The menu says it comes with sour cream and salsa but it didn't. It was basically a kids menu quesadilla. Sub par service.Again, I'm hoping this is more so due to the recent reopening but we were one of two tables at the time we ordered a coke and never got it but it was still on our tab (I believe it was the barback who brought us our check and rectifiedit) but for such a slow night to be missing sides such as sour cream, salsa and a coke it was pretty disappointing. Overall decent, we'll have to try again when they get back in the swing of things.

We are from Los Angeles, it was our 1st time visiting Escondido. Out of all the restaurants we could have gone to, We decided to eat here, service was friendly. Our waitress was very tentative nd courteous, we ordered strawberry waffles, a built your own omelet nd a built your own sandwich. Which by the way everything was delicious, although there was a small discrepancy on the Menu. She came apologize fist than explain the discrepancy, which I didn't mind. Other than that,We will be coming back soon!!!!

Good food. Good fast service. The salad was super fresh. Dinner and coffee were hot. Prices were very reasonable. The dining area was very clean and comfortable with a nice big semi-outdoor area. Sadly this place was empty! I have no idea why this place isn't more crowded. It's fairly new, so maybe people just don't know about it yet.

Update: it was so good the first time two months ago I decided to come back. I am just as pleased this time as I was the first time. And they have more staff. I seen a sign that said under New Management. The new managers have taken over a few months back so I don?t know how the old reviews pertain to the new service. Food was amazing. The pancakes are a 10 the gravy with the chicken fried steak is a blessing to your mouth. Hash brown were cool the service was great I?ll beback for sure and it?s Veteran owned
