Binigaus Vell - Es Migjorn Gran

Limited but well conceived and executed menu. We are here twice during our stay and had a very good meal on both occasions, prices are also very reasonable. Recommend

We stayed at the hotel and ate in the restaurant 3 times. Although the menu does not change we found enough choice on it and ate delicious food on every occasion. Eating on the terrace outside under the pine trees the stuff of dreams !

A lot of money has obviously been spent on restoring this massive old farmhouse as a hostal rural. It is situated at a height so on the night when we dined there, there was a very stiff wind. For some reason or other there outdoor dining area is on a patio which is completely exposed to the wind. This is despite the fact that they have various walled areas which would be well protected and which would much better suit outdoor dining at this location. The wind was so strong that it was too cold and unpleasant to eat there. We ate indoors. The food is very good. I ordered lamb and the portion was quite small. What was disappointing about it was that the place was full of very young children who were quite noisy in the dining room and it certainly did not make for a pleasant or romantic dining experience.

We celebrated a birthday at the beautiful Bingaus Vell.and enjoyed charming and unhurried service and some excellent dishes especially the range of starters, with a good wine list both for value and quality.
