Kuki Tanuki - Erskineville

We were a group of five and had dinner at Kuki Tanuki. The staff were very friendly, checked us in fast got us our drinks while we went over the menu. We ordered around 10 different dishes and loved them all. They were busy but we weren’t kept waiting for anything. They always checked on us to make sure we were enjoying the food and had drinks, topping up our water. We have recommended this restaurant to our friends and we will definitely return. They came around to ask if we would like any more food before the kitchen closes, nice touch. Thanks for a fantastic night Kuki staff, we had a blast. Prices were reasonable and the locals must love it as they did tons of takeaway while we were there.

This is the best restaurant in Sydney. I absolutely love the chicken wings and nachos, as well as the ice cream. You must try it at least once.

This restaurant has a bit of a Japanese fusion vibe, but it's subtle and doesn't stray too far from traditional flavors. Most of the dishes were familiar, with my favorites being the chicken wings, the incredibly fresh salmon sashimi, the chicken katsu bao, and the sashimi nachos. The nachos consisted of small pieces of sashimi mixed with a salad, served on a corn chip. Everything was delicious and well worth the price in a banquet setting. It was a fun dining experience, with a decent drinks menu including sake, Japanese beers, and lighter options.

I just grabbed some snacks and, although the prices are pretty high, they were worth it. The katsu bao had great pork and flavours the first of these trendy bao I've had in Sydney that was actually good quality and could justify the prices and the gyoza were standard but filled and cooked well.

We love this place thou stopped going because the menue was not changing. we had a fantastic night with the waiter remembering us by names witch is fantastic. the food was simply delicious again a different menu was presented. We also reminded our friendly waiter on how much we used to love our lunches by having the best ever bento box. God I wish they were doing them again Everything is sims
