Bidra med feedbackCalled in on our Sunday walk, there is always a very friendly and welcoming greeting from the staff, great choice of ales/drinks to enjoy with one of their cheese boards.
Beautiful sunny day, my husband and I decided to take our four leg pal for a stroll, no shock that we ended up at the Bell Harp, such a lovely atmosphere and relaxing, my husband, Ben the Dog and I sat watching the world go by as we tucked into a pizza which was served independently on the Pub grounds, apparently the Bell Harp have different food stands every weekend, we are already a fan of this Pub, didn't think it could get any better but it just has. Just wish it was in our back garden : : : They also had dog drinks and dog nibble which was fun. They really are an all round winner.
The outdoor seating area is well laid out with tables spaced out appropriately and offers easy contactless ordering. It was pleasant to sit in the sun and enjoy a few pints, but I was missing the pork pies and scotch eggs on the bar menu.
This is a cracking pub with super beers, kept perfectly. I was very disappointed today when I called to reserve a table for five people inside at 5pm for family bubble, to be told they don’t take reservations. Great shame, we would probably have been there for a couple of hours and spent a Bob it two. Unable to sit outside as my wife is on a blue badge with back issues. Hey ho, I will go again for sure. Disappointed today though.
Had a nice walk and just popped in as we where passing to find a lovely warm reception by the bar staff with 2 log burners roaring away.We only had drinks but where amazed at the selection of real ales and gins they had to offer and the toilets are absolutely stunning, well worth a visit and we shall be returning to try the food and nibbles in the not to distant future
