Barbarossa - Erdemli

I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS HOTEL. We have been staying for 5 days, but we didn't enjoy AT ALL staying here. First of all, the receptionist was being a bit rude considering the payment during our arrival. We had paid much more than we talked about over the phone. The rooms were good and clean, but our showerhead was broken and only got fixed at the last day (we have told them atleast once a day to fix it). The food and organisation of the buffet was terrible. The plates and knifes/forks, even the chairs were dirty and people even had to wait in a que for about 10-15 minutes to get warm food. There were not many employees and the attitudes of the employees were not profissional as well. (Smoking at the pool for example when surrounded by guests). The only thing I liked about the hotel was the beautiful garden. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks up peace and wants to relax. It only gave me headdache staying here.

A horrible place to visit, the rooms are too small and very dirty, room service is very bad, the furniture is too old (don’t be fooled by the photos they share), the electrical devices and lights are too old and not functioning, no preventive measures for Corona at all (the staff are not wearing masks and no sanitizers found in the lobby or in the rooms), there are no lifts (elevators) in the hotel, the WiFi signal and speed are too weak, and finally the meals are too limited and the service is too bad.

Barbarossa is such a bad hotel. the bedrooms are dirty and there is mould on the walls. the bathroom is also moldy and really dirty. you feel dirtier after the shower our first room was sold to us with a “beautiful beach view” but that was a lie, we only saw a glimpse of the beach. we then had to change rooms because the ac wasn’t working. the dining room is disgusting, the meat smells bad, there is nearly no vegetarian options (only rice and uncooked vegetables) and over all the food is not tasty. the drinking options are ridiculous: only water, chay and nescafé. there is also juice which tastes super weird. the hotel advertises with being all inclusive- this is a total lie, they just provide 3 meals and not even sparkling water. the entertainment options are also boring. the only good thing is the beach, as the water is clear and really enjoyable, but that is also the only thing not managed by the hotel. we specifically asked the lady on the phone if the beach was closed to hotel residents only which she responded to with a yes- that was a lie. there was one person who managed the beach and he let people who did not pay lie on the hotels beach on purpose to flirt with the girls. i hope that the hotel staff takes those reviews serious. i never experienced such unprofessionalism. unbelievable that they straight up lie to their residents and then believe that it’s okay to continue with dirty rooms and disgusting food.

Cozy hotel. Quite on the beach. Opposite the fortress with its own history. There is a beach, a recreation area under a large umbrella. But the coffee is bad, from bags. And another figure resembling the Statue of Liberty, but not her.

Rooms are not very cosy and little bit old style. Garden of hotel is very nice and green but beach is far away from hotel. There is golf car which is providing transportation from lobby to beach.
