Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The prices were very affordable and the food was incredibly delicious. The staff were exceptional, accommodating, helpful, and friendly.
There is a lack of dining options where you can sit down for a meal now that the former café has turned into an Indian restaurant and is only open in the evenings. We used to frequent Primo in the past, but they suddenly closed for lunch, forcing us to drive to The Queen Adelaide during our limited lunch break. However, we were thrilled to find out that Primo has reopened for lunch. It is currently quiet, with few customers during our visits, but we believe it will pick up once more people discover it. The food is excellent, and the owner, who also cooks, is friendly and accommodating. They offer a great takeaway deal of any pasta dish for £5. While we usually dine in, the prices for wine and food are reasonable. The dishes are freshly prepared and served hot. We plan to have lunch at Primo once a week for as long as possible.
A friend organized a girls' night for a group of 30 between Christmas and New Year at this restaurant, which is conveniently located across the road from my house. Despite its small size and hidden location among small shops, it turned out to be a fantastic find. The evening included a three-course meal with wine, Prosecco, or beer for a set price. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. The starters, such as mozzarella, tomato, and avocado, were tasty, and the prawn starter with a fiery dressing was mouthwatering. The main courses were varied and everyone around me was impressed with their choices. My seafood pasta was one of the best I've ever had, although it was slightly too abundant. The risotto and fish dishes were also praised by others. Even though many of us were too full for dessert, we couldn't resist trying the chocolate souffle, apple pie, and pannacotta—all of which were excellent. The staff were attentive, generous, and helpful throughout the evening, even when we became rowdy on the makeshift dance floor. This was truly one of the best meals I've ever had, and the value for money was exceptional. I can't wait to return with my other half in the New Year. Despite its unassuming name, Primo Cafe offers excellent food in a cozy setting that is perfect for couples or family meals. I highly recommend this hidden gem to locals and guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful evening.
We went to Monika and Endrit 's restaurant when they first opened. The food was delicious then, and we 've been back there tonight for a cheeky mid-week night out, and tonight it was simply divine. I had the Carbonara and my husband had the lemon chicken. It was nice to not have the pasta swimming in cream, it was so much tastier than any pasta I 've tried before, and the vegetables that accompanied the chicken dish were cooked to perfection. They have a brilliant Chef, who definitely knows how to serve love on a plate . Looking forward to another visit in the near future.
Decided to try this new restaurant in the week as it has just opened. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We had anti pasti selection to start followed by risotto. As everything is cooked fresh and to order I was able to order mine without mint. The house white wine was very nice and reasonably priced. They only serve wine and beer at the moment, no spirits. Also we had to pay cash as their card machine hadn't arrived- but this wasn't a problem as I knew this in advance, and there are free cash facilities nearby. The couple who own it are very friendly and welcoming and I look forward to my next visit.
