Bidra med feedbackAlthough they were out of secca, the local speciality, the staff had other suggestions. So I had the trout, which was delicious. As dessert I had the typical tropezienne cake, which also was excellent. The waiters are very good and friendly so I had a very nice experience here in the heart of Entrevaux. Strongly recommended!

This restaurant is not located on the main square but a little farther back on a smaller one (where it is the only eatery). The chef and server often came out to talk to people many of whom were local (I guessed this due to the fact that the waiter recognized them and knew immediately how many seats they needed). Very lively and relaxed atmosphere. The square is a pretty place to eat outside. The food was very nice. I got the local specialty secca de boeuf (thinly sliced dried beef) which was tender and delicious (served on a bed of lettuce) and came with an equally tasty tartiflette (regional potato dish). This is hearty mountain food! Wine selection was good.
Had a number of good meals here. The food is good and well priced. Always happy with the waiters suggestions. The staff is friendly and although our French is poor we enjoyed our interactions with them. A very happy experience.
