Ensenadas Tourist Stripes houses a relatively new restaurant called “Narrenschiff”. At first glance, we thought that we had only found another Burger-Joint, though one with a stylish and welcoming decor. After studying the menu more closely, our interest increased dramatically. It appeared as...if there was an offer of great creativity. The five of us agreed that we should try. What a great pleasure! What we thought would be a routine encounter with your standard Burger menu, we were pleased to learn that even the “standard tariff” was not standard. Ingredients were uniquely selected and mixed so even a hamburger was a surprise party for our taste buds. We ordered one of their appetizers. No one was disappointed. Everyone was excellent. The experience was brought to the next level when our main plates arrived. As a normal adventurous dinner I was not optimistic when I ordered "Hamburguesa de Pulpo", i.e. an Oktopus-burger. I found it easy to overcook octopus and it hardens like an old truck tire. My was perfectly prepared and indescribably delicious. Others in our group tried shells, oysters and shrimps. All were prepared for perfection. The large selection of craft beers helped to supplement our meals. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. Prices were very reasonable, especially given the quality of meals. For a unique and rewarding culinary experience, I recommend a foolship.

This new restaurant has the right food for hungry travelers, right in the center of downtown Ensenada, I recomend the Oktopus Burger and the local beer is the best you will taste in Mexico!

After studying the menu in greater detail, our interest picked up dramatically. It appeared as if there was an offer of great creativity. The five of us agreed we needed to give it a try.What a great delight! I have found it’s easy to over-cook octopus and it toughens up like an old truck tire. Mine was perfectly prepared and indescribably delicious. Others in our group tried clams, oysters and shrimp. All were prepared to perfection. The large selection of craft beers helped complement our meals.The service was excellent, both friendly and professional. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the meals. For a unique and rewarding dining experience, I strongly recommend Narrenschiff.
