The Waverly - Englewood

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Our drinks arrived quickly, and we were brought additional drinks without delay. Our meal took about an hour to be served, as it had accidentally fallen on the floor and needed to be remade. I ordered the Very Berry salad with extra dressing and it was delicious, with a mix of blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, and creamy goat cheese on fresh greens. My partner enjoyed the French dip sandwich. We received a discount due to the wait for our food, which we appreciated. Although we weren't in a rush, it was nice to see other tables being seated and served while we waited. The outdoor seating area offered a pleasant view of the golf course, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy our meal. I would definitely return for the salad. The restaurant is conveniently located directly across the street from the beach parking lot.

It was a bustling evening, and we definitely felt it. Our party of 10 was seated upstairs, although I had hoped for an outdoor table, which was a initial disappointment. The inside of the restaurant was hot and humid. My husband's steak arrived a bit late, but was delicious. My risotto with seafood was also tasty. Our son's pasta dish received a good review as well. The presentation of the flatbread was superior to the sea bass dish, which lacked color on the plate. Overall, it was not a bad experience.
