Arturs Phils 41 - Englewood

I've been here a few times for dinner and always had a good experience. The ambiance is a bit dated, I guess, but the waitstaff are friendly and competent and my food has always been good.

Artur's is the perfect place to hold a small private event. We had our book club last night in a small private ding room. There were 8 of us and we had great service and the food was outstanding. The menu is eclectic. Although the restaurant is known for Eastern European food, they also had Italian and American dishes.

We went here with friends. The atmosphere is always good, as it hasn 't changed from the previous ownership. The servers were friendly and attentive. I ordered grilled salmon and a side salad. The salmon was a thin, tail piece, not cooked in the middle, and was barely warm. The mashed potatoes that came with it were boxed potatoes with way too much water in them. Definition not work the $28.00 price. My friend had a burger- it looked good, she seemed to like it. My husband had the chicken Caesar salad it 's hard to go wrong with these 2 items. The restaurant just opened up a huge tiki bar out back, which is great! We 'll go there again, to check out the new tiki bar.

Service was great and atmosphere was good but the food was poor. I had the chicken Alfredo. The sauce had no flavor and the chicken tasted like it had no seasoning at all on it. The only thing I could taste was the parmesan cheese I put on it.
