Does anyone know why they closed? we loved their food! just wondering. seems they are permanently closed.

Been coming to Bennies for about a decade now. Best babaganoush I've ever had my family loved it and would order the catering size container and still that wasn't enough for us 4. So sad to see it close. We'll miss the food and ambiance and wish Mr. Bennie well in his next adventure! From, George his daughters

Can’t comment on food since they didn’t have anything we wanted to eat. very limited choices. apparently ran out of soda too. only had one can of diet coke left and a coke. i dunno. no mediterranean foods left. options were sautéed spinach and mushroom. no falafel, grape leaves.. the server was a bit snotty and sounded like he expected us to be ok with the lack of food. it was dark as hell and loud. not sure what kinda atmosphere they’re trying to create. went down the block to “it’s greek to me” and had a great meal with free refill diet cokes!!!

Stopped by yesterday and it is permanently closed. checked their website and the same CLOSED. loved this place
