Bidra med feedbackI thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. One downside is that it does not have its own parking lot, so you must rely on street parking. It was perfect for hosting a wedding with 150 guests and allows you to work with outside caterers and vendors.
We had a fantastic night with our Cypriot friends to ring in the New Year. The food was outstanding, with multiple delicious courses that were expertly cooked. We enjoyed cake at midnight, lots of dancing, and even some traditional Greek dancing. This was one of the best New Year celebrations I've ever had, and I can't wait for the next party there. I highly recommend this place - the food was incredible and the klefitico was so tender.
I booked for 40 people at a cost of £33 each, when I booked I said that one lady in our group does not drink because of her culture so could she have an orange juice , the lady said that it was up to the manager on the night. On the night I went with two friends to pick up our wine for the tables , and asked the manager about the juice where he answered you can but full fit one of the bottles of wine I explained to him again the reason way and he answered again I told you give up one bottle and you can have the juice I told him that he was out of order and being quite rude he then said Take it or leave it My friend then spoke to him , and he was rude to her as well. With over 300 people there could he not have given a juice? And I had asked before hand so their were informed . The bar staff worked so hard that night, food was Ok , DJ very good. A very rude manager! No tea or coffee
This was a good local venue to celebrate our sons engagement and run with absolute efficiency and professionalism Chose the hot buffet catering which was top notch and a lovely selection of Greek traditional dishes all of which received compliments from our guests. The staff were very accommodating in all aspects to make the day more special for which we thank them To add sparkle to the occasion you would need to add some decoration to the venue eg chair tie backs table displays but once done a lovely hall to mark a small venue celebration with excellent calibre catering . Thank you to all at the Penridge for helping us celebrate this special day. Kakoullis Family
Attended a function recently in this banqueting suite, which can accommodate a fair sized event. As I did not like the starter I had melon, which was not very good quality at all. Further to that no attempt was made to make it a bit interesting bland as melon is. Pre function you had a choice of choosing vegetarian, which I did. On service there was no vegetarian meal, which I had ordered and was told by a very abrupt waitress, just eat the potatoes and vegetables and leave the rest…oh really!!! No attempt whatsoever was made to be helpful, accommodating and/or rectify the situation. I did not like the chocolate dessert and there was no substitute, really poor and not at all good. I would certainly have reservations about attending this venue again regardless of what the occasion is!!
