Bidra med feedbackHas gone downhill recently. Not sure if the management or chef has changed but in the last 2 months it has not been very good. We normally eat in our get takeaway at least once a week but are going to now have to find somewhere else. The salmon tikka used to be excellent but is now pretty much unedible. There was 6 of us and all the chicken dishes were chewy and dry and just generally not very good. It used to be excellent so it’s very disappointing.
Nice staff. Good food. Banqueting night Tuesday was a very good deal with a starter, main, side and rice/naan. You always spend more with drinks and poppadums of course! Thoroughly enjoyable.
One of the best curry eating experiences I and my companions have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Let me start off with the weak points as there weren’t many. Slightly on the expensive size, not the most amount of sauce in portions but enough meat (pause). No hot towels at the end. Naan slightly too crispy. Now on to what really matters the food. Unbelievable passanda got me dreaming. Decadent creaminess, excellent quality lamb. Not only the best passanda I’ve had but up there with the greatest individual curry dishes. Bhuna, again little to fault. Fabulous sweet and sour taste with enough zinggg. Tried various other dishes too all of which slapped harder than a middleaged Russian man in the world slap fighting championship. We love you the Grange, we do…
We always eat at The Grange and are so lucky it is within walking distance. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service. Some less well known dishes on the menu. The Banqueting Menu on Tuesdays and Sundays is excellent and wonderful value. Can't praise the cooking enough.
One of the worst Indian takeaways, we have ever had. So much sugar in the curries. The butter chicken and mattar paneer taste that same. No flavour in the food. As Indians, to call this Indian food is an insult.
