Albany Tandoori - Enfield

We decided to try a takeaway meal from this restaurant on a Saturday night having read good reviews and were very impressed. The food quality and flavour was exceptional and highly authentic. This was easily the best Indian meal that I have had in a long time and will definitely be ordering from Albany again at the next opportunity. Highly recommended

My husband placed an order with Albany tandoori yesterday as a valentine meal for us and since management has changed we have noticed this has gone down hill. The order took 3 hours to come and when we tried calling the restaurant more than 10 times the phones were busy and no one was answering when we did manage to get through. Their excuse was “sorry it’s Valentine’s Day” didn’t even Offer a refund. I’m utterly disappointed as my in laws have been going to albany for more than 20 years. If you can’t take orders due to being busy then state that. Food was flavourless too which never is usually the case.

I’ve searched low and high but this is the best curry in St Albans. The owners are charming as are the staff.

Small and,tucked away dont be fooled the food is superb the best tasting indian food in the area.I fine there and have takeaways and the staff are excellent.

I have loved this Albany Tandoori for years and I love going there as much as possible. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating, not to mention everything from their Saag Alu to the Chicken Tikka Masala, is simply gorgeous. Get another portion to have later at your flat or airbnb, trust me, you will be glad you did !!!
