Bidra med feedbackBeer was cheap, people were cool. Word on the street is there food is killer! I'll be back for some.
The wings were whole but cut into pieces and are advertised as a dozen for $8.00. The Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich was quite good, as was the burger. However, both sandwiches came with only a few fries, which appeared to be recooked. The club sandwich was tasty but fell apart while eating it. The perogies were excellent. As the restaurant has just opened, many items on the menu were unavailable, including pasta, meatloaf, and dough for appetizers and sandwiches. I wanted to try the pepperoni pizza burger but, since they didn't have the dough, I requested to substitute it with a burger bun. Unfortunately, I was told that substitutions weren't allowed. The waitress needs to improve her customer service skills; she asked who would be paying the bill and assumed it was my boyfriend without checking. She also sat down to take our appetizer and main course orders, which felt a bit unprofessional. We plan to return after they’ve been open for a while to see if they’ve ironed out some issues. The new owners have clearly put in effort to refresh the place with new paint and more.
**Update: The establishment is now called Blue Collar Tavern. Avoid it. Three-quarters of the menu was unavailable during my visit. It was freezing cold inside, and the place is in desperate need of renovation. I didn’t receive any drink refills either. They also don’t accept credit cards (it's 2018, people). While it might seem like a decent local bar, if you're just passing through, do yourself a favor and keep driving.**

Mike's Restaurant and Lounge has transformed into the Blue Collar Tavern, and the new owners have done a fantastic job of cleaning it up. It's definitely worth a visit now that the COVID crisis has eased.
