This place was awesome. Real down home type vibe. It was closed. We knocked on the door and some lady kind of yelled at us but in like a sweet way. Really nice waiting area. 6 out of 5

We ate at Surf's Up in Emerald Isle, NC. We sat at the bar facing the window with a view of the Atlantic and the fishing pier. Amazing to watch sunset (although the island faces south so you're getting the after glow not a direct view. The food was very good, though at this point I can't remember what we had--probably fish tacos. The restaurant was crowded despite this being off season and with good reason. A very friendly, congenial atmosphere with interesting quirky decor (half a Volkswagen bus against one wall.

Excellent service from Ashley B. We both had the Grilled Shrimp and recommend this entre'. Great view of the water.

Stopped here for lunch with a friend and everything was great! The view was awesome! I don't have any complaints. I recommend trying this place.

We were sat at a long bar overlooking the beach and pier which was nice. The grouper fingers were ok but the potato salad was very good. My husband liked his Aloha burger too. Our waitress was super nice and attentive! We really enjoyed walking on the pier after we finished our meal! I recommend visiting this fun restaurant when in the area.
