I had been once before just for coffee and I was surprised by the atmosphere, so this time we decided to eat beforehand. I went with my two neighbors and enjoyed an excellent value for money menu of the day and fantastic service. We had a drink each, a salad before meals with bread, a starter of a good selection, a main course of a selection of 9 served with freshly cooked potatoes and vegetables, a dessert, again of a good selection and then coffee served by a lovely Spanish lady with a permanent smile, all for € 11 each. Nothing special about the place, typical of the area, but freshly cooked quality food, quality service at an incredible cost, I speak for the 3 of us when I say we will return very soon. Había estado una vez antes solo por un café y me sorprendió la atmósfera, así que esta vez decidimos comer de antemano. Fui con mis dos vecinos y disfruté de una excelente relación calidad-precio del menú del día y un servicio fantástico. Tomamos una bebida cada uno, una ensalada antes de las comidas con pan, un plato de una buena selección, un plato principal de una selección de 9 servidos con papas y verduras recién cocinadas, un postre, otra vez de una buena selección y luego café servido. encantadora dama española con una sonrisa permanente, todo por 11 € cada una. Nada especial sobre el lugar, típico de la zona, pero comida de calidad recién preparada, servicio de calidad a un costo increíble, hablo por nosotros 3 cuando digo que volveremos muy pronto.

The rating for this place is based not only on the food but a lot on the experince and atmosphere you encounter. Do not expect white apron service, it is a place where you eat amongst the local farmers, while they talk loudly about their farms and throw on the floor the rest of the raw beans they eat at the bar, as it is normally expected in a place like this. All food is home made and coocked on charcoal. To note that this place historically started as a butcher place, which it still is!

Traditional Spanish restaurant. Tasty food served by very friendly staff. Great value for money. Service is very fast with a wide choice of food. A great place for a quick lunch.

We’ve been past this restaurant so many times and it always looks busy but we’ve never got round to it until now. Started with a drink in the bar which contains a butchers and cheese counter. Baked goods also available. Very friendly and entertaining. The restaurant was already filling up so we took our table. The food was very typical for this area but the quality was excellent and the service amazing. The waitress could not have been more helpful. The price for this lunch was 42 Euros including drinks for the four of us. There was a good choice including fish although I can’t say if vegetarian was available. The whole experience of the bar and restaurant just left us all with huge smiles on our faces and we will definitely be back. Get there early because it is so popular.
