Mibarra - Elx

It’s hard to describe what we didn’t like about this restaurant, one of the few to be open on May Day 2019 but something was lacking? Over generous portion sizes, we chose a Cesar Salad for one to share between two and it would have fed 8. Our fault for trying to eat half of it which destroyed main courses! Good wine list competitively priced.

A restaurant which offers, apart from all the local traditional mediterranean dishes a great variety of barbecue choices. There is also a MiBarra in Sta. Pola with the same excellent offer. Try the menus very good value.

We stopped in Elche on our last night as it was convenient for the airport so this was our last restaurant of the holiday. It did not let us down. The waiter was charming with passable English and his wine recommendation was spot on. Try Gallician white.The food was superb, I must mention the huge juicey smoked mussels, the best I have ever had

I was honestly disappointed to have squids and told me we don't have a restaurant like this. And we were eight in the whole restaurant. I don't have this memory of when I go to Santa Pola, very bad. The buahhh pear that is fantastic left me ice cream was not the same, and the other sincerely wrong dessert.
