The Waggon Horses - Elstree

The food is 5 stars the service was great such lovely people but we had booked our table at 6 by 7.30pm we was being told to move to the bar as they had another booking. We hadn't long just finished our food. It wasn't that busy so didn't understand why we was being moved so quickly. Our bill was over £200 and we was rushed from having a great night to feeling like once we paid we wasn't welcomed. There was 3 children and 4 adults we didn't even get asked if we wanted desert we was rushed off by the manager to a table in the bar under the tele which was playing the football. Which ended our expensive night early. Alot of money for an hour half. But I must say that the food is outstanding. Cam not fault the food and the gentlemen serving us was so lovely.

The location is in a unique hidden area but nice as it's away from everything. The food portions versus the price are excellent and great choice. Cute place and service at a good pace. Jordan was our server and can't fault his excellent service. He was very attentive throughout All of the staff were working as a team. Would definitely recommend. Rooms: 3

The location of the pub creates a plesent environment. There is a field of horses next to the pub. The inside area is nice and cosy, while the outside space open and spaces. I can’t comment on the food, as I didn’t have any. But the customer service was outstanding when it came to serving drinks. Rooms: 4 Service: 5
