St George Dining Room - Elsternwick

We treated our 94-year-old neighbor to lunch, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. We ordered the rib-eye steak, which was cooked perfectly and served with tasty chips, as well as the pork loin and calamari.

The restaurant is attempting to set a new standard.

2 of us thought we would go to dinner as we saw drinks outside a while ago in the dining room was surprised with the menu. Not disappointed had a fish steak (Special Board) friendly service worth the RSL.

Tuesday evening at the RSL was a regular one until the work obligations were in the way. But if I have a free evening, it's my first call port. As a member you get 3 meals for the price of two, and tho chicken parmigiana is my...go too, the salt n pepper Calamari is excellent. With a new menu, my friends tried a tasting plate with sliders, Argancini and other objects they really enjoyed. Then you'll get the quiz night that starts at 7:30!

A Tuesday afternoon we went to this club for dinner. The building is interesting and has a beautiful outdoor area on the front. There are a few parking spaces in front of the club and more parking spaces behind it. It is a typical RSL club...with fast efficient service and quite typical food for RSL. The restaurant was half full, and as they had a trivia night, more and more people came in. Given the benefits of a member, it is a very cheap place to have meals with family or friends. We just had fish and chicken dishes that were big and satisfying.
