Bidra med feedbackI wouldn't go there again if it was the last thing to eat on earth! The food as I should've listened to the reviews was greasy. I usually never eat somewhere after a bad review but I had 5$ off. So I was ok with eating food my money wasn't going towards. But after eating it u wouldn't eat it again even if it was free.
I am giving 3 because 1. We had a reservation for 2pm, party of 18, but we 2 extra show. A group of over 20 no reservation was seated before us . We sat there for about 45 minutes before we got drinks. Good thing is they kept us updated and I guess they felt our frustration, they explained they was short staffed and pur cooks was working double duty. We were calm, they finally came and gave us a nice show. I got no rice or veggies, but my rice and calamari was ok. No comment on the miso soup.
The food is very good but the service is terrible. Sometimes we will sit for 10-15 mins before being acknowledged and offered drinks. My husband always orders something from the kitchen and I always order sushi, 100% of the time his meal comes about 15 to 20 minutes before mine. The sushi chef and the kitchen expediter can't seem to get their timing right. Cleanliness has gone way downhill. If they can improve their customer service and keep the bathrooms clean, I would give them a 5 star rating.
Bad and oily. I got the chicken and steak hibachi dinner. Everything was caked in oil including the steak, chicken, noodles, veggies and even the rice. Basically inedible food. Salad was a pool of bad dressing with iceberg lettuce on top. Would not recommend and will not go back.
I have made several purchases, all to go orders, at this location within the last nine months. On two occasions, the order has been incomplete. In the first instance, the person who took the order forgot to put the salad and ginger dressing in the bag before we left with the order. When I called the restaurant on that occasion, she admitted that the salad and dressing were sitting on the table where she left them. Earlier today, I placed an order for a lunch special comprised of rice and noodles, and ordered a side of teriyaki vegetables. The lunch special came with a side salad. I requested ginger dressing for the same. On the same order, I ordered two specialty sushi rolls. The business' advertisement is that when you purchase two specialty rolls, you receive a classic sushi roll for free. Based on that special, I ordered a shrimp tempura roll as my free classic roll. When I arrived home, I noted that side salad with ginger dressing, as well as the shrimp tempura roll, were missing from the bag. I called the restaurant 5 times before I could even get someone to answer the phone. With the first telephone conversation, a male employee stated the person who took the order was waiting on a table. He stated he had only been there 10 minutes and was not knowledgeable of the circumstances of the order. He advised that he would have the female who took the order to call me back. An hour or so passed with no response from the restaurant. I placed a second call to the restaurant. A female answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and was advised that the manager was not there. This female advised that she was going to place me on hold and converse with the owner to see if they could replace the items that were missing, and possibly add a sushi roll for the inconvenience. The female returned to the phone and stated that the manager was only going to replace the salad and shrimp tempura sushi roll, requiring that we made another trip to the restaurant to obtain the same. I advised the female that she should tell the manager that he or she should expect me to pick up the missing items, at my convenience, and to not expect any future business due to the business' failure to provide items that were purchased, as well as the lack of concern and customer service by the manager. It was a true slap in the face of a paying customer!!!!!! Oh, by the way, this business is not by any means the cheapest Japanese restaurant in the area, but obviously the most mismanaged Japanese restaurant anywhere close by. I would not recommend this business to anyone, unless you want to pay for items you don't receive, and receive absolute substandard customer service.
