Bidra med feedbackLoved the spicy chicken, really liked the tater dead and biscuits, but the green beans and dirty rice were just okay. Chicken was super fleshy. Normal meal prices are super expensive. Lunch is not bad for $8, but it is not enough food for most people.
Our party of four thought a teddy on the way back to buffalo of Ostaurora. The owners seem to have dropped a lot into this business. Many parking spaces. Dinner on the ground floor, but we had nothing because we just finished dinner elsewhere. The bar/lounge on the upper floor is nice, but go up to enjoy drinks, is a bit out of thought for someone older or have a walking/climbing possibility. The new outdoor deck is on the smaller side with five four people tables. The view is quite beautiful with view of the brook at a distance about 150 meters away. Our whole party thought it was very overpriced when we got our drinks bill. You thought you were in a high-class dip, I can't really say we were going back. regularly.
On a neutral note, the sides we had—collard greens and green beans—were decent. The collard greens were nicely spiced, and the green beans had a lovely savory flavor. However, the main reason for my two-star rating is the chicken, which was disappointing. I ordered the mixed meal for $12, expecting a thigh, drumstick, and three wings. While the drumstick was substantial, the thigh was on the smaller side, and the wings were lackluster with little to no meat. The chicken was served lukewarm, and the bread was bland, soggy, and chewy. Given that this is a chicken restaurant, the quality of the chicken was far from acceptable—definitely below average. In Buffalo, we take pride in our wings and fried chicken, and while I understand this is a Southern fried chicken shop, the lack of flavor and freshness is hard to overlook. I genuinely want this place to succeed because the ambiance is great, but as a chicken restaurant, I can't recommend it.
This restaurant is excellent! I tried the fried chicken breasts, collard greens, and mac and cheese, and it was all delicious. The chicken was juicy and very tender, with generous portions of meat. The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant are both really nice as well. I highly recommend it! While the prices are higher than fast food, it’s definitely worth it!
Unbelievable! This restaurant only serves chicken, but when we visited at noon, they didn't have any chicken breast! They had two specials that day (it was our first visit), but when we asked, they said neither was available. There were no menus, just a board overhead displaying the options, which felt more like a fast food joint. All they had that day were chicken legs and thighs! It's hard to believe that you would go to a nice restaurant to only order thighs or legs. We won't be returning.
