Miel Patisserie Cafe - Ellisburg

As if the average 2.5 rating doesn 't say enough. Miel patisserie is an embarrassing excuse of an establishment. Pathetic Customer service is an understatement. Incompetent owners. Honest employees admit that owners are negligent, scam artists. Each person associated with the business has a different story. Trying to book my wedding favors months in advance proved difficult as I was told at the door from the employee that the store would lose my order if it was placed early. So I waited a month before my wedding to place my order and get the pricing. Multiple phone conversations took place with multiple people that worked in the store. One quoting one price, and the next, quoting another. Some employees and the owners husband claimed their was a special I would receive with my order. The owner, being the savvy business woman that she is, waited until 2 wks before my wedding to claim this was not true or possible and implied that I was begging for a deal . I am not the sort of person that asks for handout, let alone expects them.

A touch of Paris* in Center City, cozy but pleasant nook in Center City with divine tempting pastries, mouth-watering sandwiches and breakfasts, and cordial service. *Suggestion: Perhaps the music could be less contemporary/intrusive and more French-appropriate.

Delicious! We had macrons (excellent), tres leches cake (luscious), and citron cake (divine) all with some coffee. We went back the next morning for a croisant breakfast sandwich and more cake. Can't wait to go back!

Wow, this place was terrible. We stopped in for a quick bite at 11am. My mom ordered three different sandwiches, none of which they had ingredients for. She wound up ordered and egg and cheese sandwich; I had the Miel special panini. Her eggs were both burned and unseasoned. The miel panini contained not even 2oz of chicken, and instead of arugula, they substituted iceberg lettuce. They also put the stem end of the tomato on there. It was pressed to the point of being soggy, not crisp. The prices on the board don’t reflect their actual current pricing. Despite being the only ones in there, it took them nearly 25 minutes to make two sandwiches.Not good. Skip.

I ordered mini desserts for a tea party and was so thrilled with the result that I had to write a review. They were adorable, delicious, and perfectly packaged. They really went above and beyond to make it special, all of our guests were so impressed!
