I don’t usually give reviews but this place is a hidden gem! Went for a hike nearby and stopped to get a breakfast sandwich and it was awesome. didn’t expect it to be that good since it’s a convenience store as well. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are in the area!

Very nice employees and the food was very good I did say in video that all food is fresh, and unfortunately the bacon wasn't fresh but food was still very good...

6/6/23 at 6:50 AMI drive by here every single day when I drive home from my overnight shift at the hospital. I stopped by this morning to get breakfast and saw that nobody was working in the kitchen area. I asked the woman at the register yes the kitchen was open, and she pointed at a tiny closed sign. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review like that, but it was in a very rude fashion. She could have just said “no I’m sorry our kitchen is closed”. Customer service is HUGE in a small town like Ellington. Also not a very nice way to treat a healthcare worker. I think people forget that we just came out of the pandemic and we busted our butts on the front line…

Stephanie makes one of the best homemade Clam chowders

Was passing through to get gas. Place was clean. Gave me a 90’s type of kid again feel. I haven’t eaten candy in years and I bought some there. I applaud Connecticut for keeping mom and pop businesses alive
