Syriana Cafe Gallery - Ellicott City

The food here is delicious. The environment is warm and there are three different floors you can choose to sit on. The first floor has a nice window seat where there's a view of shops and the street. The second I think has a balcony. I will say, I had to wait like an hour after ordering my food and I was one of the few people there. Maybe it was because I sat on the third floor. Otherwise great place!

Frozen fries were extremely undercooked. The lahm bil ajeen was drenched pomegranate molasses, which meant it was the only thing we could taste. It also wasn't a fresh flatbread, which is how it should be prepared. It was made with a store bought pita with crumbled meat on top. Syrian food can be amazing, but this was far below average.

Both the food and service were amazing at this place. We wanted to try something new, so we went here and enjoy the great balcony view over a beautiful day in Ellicott city. If you are looking for great food and great service, and want to try something new, this is the place to go!

Lamb chops were gross...chicken wrap was gross.. Server ignored us...never brought water or utensils...way overpriced... Beautiful restaurant though.. I will go back only for appetizers...they were good...and at least you don't need silverware for that Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Food was ok but service and cleanliness were very poor. I was served the wrong dish then charged for the more expensive item, which I never got. I asked for water and silverware multiple times. We never saw our check so we just paid and left. The table and menus were dirty. Our servers never apologized or offered to make anything right. We spent $70 on lunch and were very disappointed.
