China Village - Ellicott City

Chicken wings we're really good. Pork egg foo young what's a solid 8 out of 10. Everyone very nice. They deliver a pretty good distance away.

Called in order for pickup. Food was ready quickly and was available for pickup when I arrived. We got Szechuan shredded beef and moo goo gai pan. As always meals were excellent.

I used to go another local Chinese restaurant, but they eliminated key ingredients from their foods and increased prices, so I was looking for new place, and found this one. This is typical Chinese togo restaurant, but they looked cleaner than other places and also have some tables inside too. This place is nothing fancy but it is good value restaurant with typical Chinese togo menus. I tried 3 times and foods were cooked correctly. As of June 2021, they didn't increase their prices, so as long as their food/price stay same, I will keep coming back. March, 2022 update Price was increased twice and we all know why. Their prices are still reasonable to me. I subtract one star because they kept forgetting egg rolls on my orders from last 3 visits. Response to owner. I always order multiple things include lunch combo which supposed to come with egg rolls. I should check when I picked them but always found out once I got home.

Nice little place. Pretty much empty at 7pm on a Sunday, but there were plenty of take-out orders heading out the door. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The service was... quaint. Personally, I have family who grew up working in their parents' Chinese restaurant, so when I see kids working in a place like this I find it endearing. But they're not seasoned professional servers by any means. Very friendly and helpful, though.

My wife loves their egg rolls. I have had several of their dishes, General Tso's, Sesame Beef, Chicken Broccoli, and all are great. I absolutely love their fried rice. I work in Reisterstown and apparently all the Chinese restaurants around here need to go back to fried rice school. Order anything on the China Village menu and you won't be disappointed.
