The Gardens - Elkhorn

I have been visiting this restaurant for years, and whenever I am working nearby, I make sure to eat here as much as I can. I love homemade food, and this place serves the real deal - delicious, authentic, homemade dishes that are becoming increasingly rare to find.

Sunday Supper is fantastic! They serve homemade buns and the owners are friendly and very accommodating. Their Denvers are also excellent. I have never been disappointed when dining here.

The couple running this place were the best. I travel lots and having a meal that tastes like home made, and being treated like family, means the world to me.

This restaurant is known for its Denver sandwich, which some people in my group ordered and said was very cheesy and delicious, but I ordered the perogies with chili. I love perogies and these came with meaty chilly, fresh green onions and sour cream on the side. I will be back to try more menu items. The restaurant is visible from Hwy 1.

My family has come here many many times. Glen and Effie are more than hospitable and the food is always great!
