Silver Lake Inn - Elkhorn

Beautiful dive bar, big fish fry if they still have it. Food: 4/5

A quick lunch and drink. The atmosphere was nothing special, the tables were clean and they had a pool table near the bar. There was a large outdoor area picnic/smoking (deformed). They had several poker/slot machine and drag tabs. Bartender also cooked that day. She did a good job to balance drinks and food orders. **** Mary was good and cheap! Would have preferred a little more Garnish options. Beverages were a decent pour, especially for the price. Menu included standard bar food, but was really well done. Slider were perfectly boiled (picture) and only $1.75 fully charged. Hot Dog was a traditional Chicago style (picture), meal was two hot dogs, chips and a beer for $7. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick place for good drinks and bar food.

Small shots and mediocre wings. Haven't tried the tacos.
