E’s Soul Food - Elkhart

Ordered from here on doordasha while ago. Im not even sure the order was correct. We ordered the bbq chicken plate, fried chicken plate and bbq rib plate. The chicken plates were the same thing which were just 6 or 7 wing pieces with a little drizzle of sauce and no sides were included which is ridiculous for over $15 a plate. Food was ice cold and not fresh tasting. Very generic in flavor.

I don't a reference to compare soul food to but I can say the quality of the food is great. I had the BBQ rib plate with Mac and cheese and greens and all yhe flavors were tremendous. Recommend this place to anyone looking to eat out. I will be back.

I have never had soul food before but I can say the flavors were tremendous here. Greens were soft savory with a hint of bacon flavor. Mac cheese was thick, creamy delicious. Bar B Q Ribs were just the right level of messy tender. Corn bread was the softest sweetest I have ever had. I will be back.

Food was excellent and service was fast and friendly definitely coming back again
