The Barn - Elk Grove

This has become one of our favorite breakfast places on weekends. Large selection of breakfast items and we can sit on the terrace with our dog.

GOT SHAFTED. 2 eggs Benedict breakfast with sausage for $70. 2 Benedikt only on the hashbrowns, not muffins. Wanted sausage links? Sure. How many? Plates came, sausages was somewhat larger than a standard link, but the amount of salt was from the chart! So salty we couldn't eat them. We didn't want to send them back or waste them, we swallowed hard to get them down. When we got the bill, it was about $68 she gave us $2.50 per link salted pork. They also calculated a full breakfast of $15 for the extra hashbrowns they used, if used at all. Then I have to think I had no more potatoes. (You can get the whole 10# bag for $4). 2 cups of coffee at $3 or 3,50 per. How can an establishment morally burden this kind of prize? Worst experience ever.

I really like breakfast here. The food was great as the service. Yeah, I'll come back to try lunch and dinner.

Hearty American food in rural Elk Grove Sheldon! Friendly service, good portions, reasonable prices. You won't leave hungry. Recommended.
