Bidra med feedbackWe will be back! Stopped in for brunch, our first experience eating out since moving to the area and I fell in love. I got the Monte Cristo with a blush mimosa and it was SO good. And different, never had anything like that sandwich and I already want to come back for more. My husband ordered the brunch burger and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet and our waiter was perfect.
This place has amazing food! The staff is excellent! The chef's creations are exquisite! Recommendation drinks **** Mary and the mimosa Food the French toast platter (both lemon blueberry and the classic French Toast!
I was traveling for a funeral and stopped at this Bistro for lunch. I didn?t realize Brunch was being served, but the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The food was delicious! I had the club sandwich and it is probably the best club sandwich I have ever had. Highly recommend!!
It was the first time going there, but it did not disappoint. I'd call ahead to make sure seating is available, we got lucky that the bar had room. I ordered the Lamb Burger and it was heavenly! I may or may not of shed a tear over how delicious it was! The sweet potato fries were great as well! Also, a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it. And the staff were amazing and the food was done in a timely manner.
I would have gave five stars if the nice gentleman behind the bar was our waiter. I recently moved to Elizabeth City, from California..This was my fourth time, at The Mill. I normally do carry out, but today I dine in. Because my son drove 2 hours to get to Elizabeth City so we could celebrate his (retirement 20yrs, Marine????????. Our waitress was (the girl with the bleach blonde hair part down the middle, stopping at her neck. This waitress was so rude and ignorant, she never gave us her name, never said hello and never smiled. The whole time she 's looking at us, as if she was mad, and rolling her eyes. (I should have followed my intuition and left. Because I spoke to her twice and she did not speak back. But it was a Sunday, and most downtown restaurants was close. Our waitress only asked us, what do you want to eat and drink. Even when we was trying to have small humorous chit- chat with her, she looked at us with such disdain. We were the only Black people in the restaurant at the time. This waitress made sure we felt very uncomfortable throughout our brunch. When it was time for us to get our bill my son had to raise his hand!. The nice gentleman behind the bar came and brought us the bill. Our waitress never came to pick it up, so my son got up to take it to her. The gentleman behind the bar took it from him, and gave it to our waitress. We still gave her a very good tip$, but our waitress had the audacity to not say Thank You or Goodbye . My question is how many other Black people have she did this to and got away with it, in your establishment. Needless to say, I nor my family will NOT be going back.
