El Parian Mexican - Elizabeth City

We chose to try El Parian, and we are incredibly happy we did. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding—definitely a perfect 10. We will absolutely be returning and have already recommended it to our friends and family.

We discovered this charming family-owned restaurant due to a road closure, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The waitstaff was fantastic, and the owner/manager personally came by to ensure we were satisfied, which we definitely were. We ordered the shredded beef burritos with beans (substituting rice) and the seasoning was just right! My husband enjoyed a top-shelf margarita, which he found to be excellent. We're so glad we found this gem in Elizabeth City and will definitely be back as regular customers!

The food here is outstanding. The prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I dine here at least twice a month and would strongly recommend this restaurant.
