Even though I knew the course was undergoing renovation of the greens, I wanted to check out the course layout. I was most impressed with the potential of the course. In my opinion, it can easily become a Diamond in the rough . It appears that the new owner has the intention to provide an excellent golfing experience. At the turn, I took the time to have lunch. It was the best burger I can ever remember eating. The gentleman in the pro shop was personable and professional. I learned that he was the head pro and was doing everything carts, starter, checking golfers in, and answering the phone. Amazingly, during the renovations, the cost to play with a cart was less than $1.00 per hole! I can 't wait to return to The Pines later this year to see the results of the course renovations.

My husband and i had dinner there this past Friday. The food was wonderful. Everything was fresh. Great burger and steak! Service was great too! Only 2 girls working and they did a fabulous job!! Highly recommended!
