Big Daddy's Pizza - Elizabeth City

I have been going to Big Daddys for a long time and only one time I had a very bad experience. the sad part was I had my family from out of town visiting.

Had been going a lot recently in the past few months. Even had a birthday party there for my 8 year old son. And we went there on Sunday around noon every week. Spent on average of $50 to $60 each visit. But it was worth it because the food was great. Until the last visit. We ordered lunch and that included 2 medium pizzas with pepperoni and sausage. Had almost a whole pizza left so we brought it home. Later that day when my son tried to heat up a piece, he found a razor blade underneath the cheese and pepperoni. It was backed into the pizza. My wife called to tell them about it and complain but their response was pretty much we don 't have razors in our restaurant and said they would look into it. NEVER heard back from them. Pretty much consider this a severe lack of caring or attention to a dangerous situation. Have been asked by numerous people who come to EC to visit about going there to eat and my response is DON T. They apparently don 't care about safety or even customer service for their patrons. I didn 't ask for anything back from them but they basically didn 't offer anyway. My son could have cut his mouth or throat very badly and they just acted like it was impossible. We absolutely love the pizza! Service is usually very friendly and good. I love that they have a pick up window. It is not for placing orders, but they were nice enough to let my husband place his order at the window once. :

I live 20 minutes away, and when they offered to have it ready if I wanted it, I said no. What I really want is for my order to be correct the first time and for someone to take their job seriously. I won’t be ordering from here again. When I’m spending a significant amount of money to feed a family of five, I expect my order to be double-checked. This is just unacceptable.

This is the third time I’ve ordered food from here and it’s either incorrect or something is missing. During my first order, they forgot to include the carrot cake and said they would credit me, but I still haven’t received it. The second time, I specifically requested no mayo on my steak and cheese, yet they still added it. Now for the third time, I ordered another carrot cake and it’s not included in the bag! I live 20 minutes away and when I called about it, they suggested I could wait for them to prepare it again, but that’s not what I want. I want my order to be correct the first time, and I expect the staff to do their job properly. I won’t be ordering from here again. When I’m spending a significant amount of money to feed a family of five, I expect the order to be double-checked. This is just unacceptable.
