I can 't rate this restaurant highly enough! We booked under 'First Table ' which meant we received 50% off the food bill but we were treated exactly the same as if we were paying full price. From the minute we arrived, we instantly were made to feel welcome and special. We had beautiful scallops , Chicken Liver Parfait and Onion Soufflé .All fantastic especially their signature soufflé! The staff super friendly providing excellent service. If you are in the area looking for a place to eat, this is a restaurant!

It was my first time trying this place with my dear friend. Service was outstanding so as the food. Friendly environment. Being food fanatic I do recommend this place everyone.

From the minute we arrived, we instantly were made to feel welcome and special. We had beautiful scallops as an appetiser, followed by Chicken Liver Parfait and Onion Soufflé as entrees.. All fantastic especially their signature soufflé! For mains, we had Duck and Eye Fillet, again both dishes were exceptional and we finished the night off with a chocolate fondant which was heavenly to say the least! My partner and I like to try different places every fortnight and it 's generally the service that lets restaurants down. In this restaurant however, the service is second to none.. The staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating and really do provide a 5* experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening Macleay St Bistro, we will certainly be back soon! Julie Andy xx
