Starbucks - Elgin

I love Starbucks, but I try to avoid this one. They seem to always get my order wrong. And also, my last experience was odd. Awhile back they gave me ice in my nitro cold brew and I enjoyed it but when I went to order it again, there was no ice and I asked for ice and the guy said he could not put ice in it because it was nitro cold brew, which shouldn’t have been given with ice. I understood , but but I liked it that way and it wasn’t fixed. This is the closest Starbucks location to me, but I drive farther for a better experience.

I sat there and I waited, and I got ignored for 15 minutes. And every time I ask about my Mobile order, the girls acted as if I did not exist. I watched the entire drive through get serviced and many cars after me as well.Then I had to go through the drive-through in order to get my Mobile order because they kept ignoring me, and would not make my order From there, I sat in the drive-through for another 15 minutes. All in all it took over 30 minutes for one single latte. Horrible service, bad attitudes, all during the holidays. I know, and understand what it is to be a barista, especially at a place like this, but being rude to your customers and ignoring them aren’t gonna get you very far. It’s not even that busy, and we all deserve to get treated with respect.This was truly a sickening experience and sincerely wish I did not get off the freeway to come to this horrible Starbucks.

Update:Two drinks can cost $17 . So to receive the cups with the contents of the drink all over it … multiple times is disgusting . They don’t fix their own drinks like that at home. #2 most people are also going to work between the morning before 3pm. Please do not have the new people experimenting with my drink .. absolutely not. The girl with bright red hair had made both drinks TWICE and it was watery and disgusting . If it has to be remade, a manager or someone experienced should remake it! I order here every day for someone to say “maybe it was this or that” no ma’am you can’t make drinks then accidentally short changed. Now it’s hit or miss here .
