Bennigan's - Elgin

I usually eat in local restaurants against chains, but it is ice-cold out, so I near the hotel on this work trip. The servers were all super friendly. Tyler was up on everything and offers excellent service for lunch today before you get to the airport. The dishes are delicious- huge portions, definitely interchangeable.

The food is excellent. We ate both nights at the hotel. Ribs are falling from the bone, with not too much sauce (my man likes his dry while I mean in BBQ sauce. The fish was fluffy and not swimming in oil like many restaurants. Fries are large, crispy on the outside and fleshy inside. Burgers have good taste and cooked as ordered. The prices are medium, but the size of the portions makes it a good value. The ribs and fish and chips are shown.

The service was some of the best I had. The food was fast, accurate and fresh. And you can't beat prizes there!!!!

My culinary experience here was wonderful. I also had a great meal and a friendly service. It's a very relaxed environment, so I felt comfortable. My server was friendly and very helpful. I came for the fish rog that was delicious. Also, to I had some ice over a warm brownie (that is to die for! . I definitely recommend it. Overall, it was a great place to dine. If I'm back here, I'll be back to dinner.

The food is excellent. Honestly with the way prices are with eating out you cannot beat what this place has to offer. From their Cobb salad to their steak it is awesome. The potato soup was great with all the garnishes. Thanks as always! Nick Mason
