Bidra med feedbackWe ordered starters and mains. My wife's cold starter arrived 15 mins before my hot starter, which I had to chase the waitress for! Waitress then hovered waiting to snatch plates away as mains were ready. My wife had duck (which she said was unimpressive compared with other duck she had eaten elsewhere in Spain) and I had beef steak. My steak was cold and very rare. Waitress put her hand on the steak to check temperature and then took it back to kitchen. When it finally arrived it wasn't bad though. Local red wine was good.
We went to Dulcinea restaurant for a cup of tea and some desserts and were very pleased. The service was very attentive, they coped with my poor Spanish (I insisted on avoiding English for my own practice) really well and reccommended the desserts. The house specialty, Dulcinea's dessert, was amazing! It was a baked dessert with custard, chocolate and a scoop of ice cream (very good quality). The portion was very generous and it may even be enough for two people, as was also suggested by the waiter. But we decided to try something else as well. We ordered another hot dessert which was chocolate pudding with hot chocolate sauce and also a scoop of the same great ice cream. It went down a treat again. The bill was also very acceptable. €10 for two cups of tea and two desserts. We are planning to return there for a proper meal next day.
Travelling with four friends, we stayed in the village of El Toboso for one night and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The value was outstanding we had a two course meal, wine, and coffee for 9 Euros per person.. In spite of the fact they were preparing the restaurant for a private function for 600 people they were very happy to accommodate us. Delicious local food provided and we even had a free liquor! Recommended.

Un lugar increíble donde ir con la familia,la comida está muy bien,pero lo mejor son sus camareros,sobre todo el chico de la barra,CARLOS, que chico tan atento y educado, 10/10
