Bar Restaurante Quilla

We enjoyed the food which was quite tasty and nicely presented. The surroundings of the restaurant are great. However, the most memorable experience was the way we were treated. We felt welcome and that we mattered to the waiters taking care of us. It was really fun interacting with them and they made great suggestions for a beer that sounded irresistible based on the description given to us. Indeed they were unique beers. In short, nice place, great food and warm attention for a really affordable price.

This bar restaurant has a superb location. The problem is they know it and charge accordingly. I was at the beach for a few hours in Cadiz. . I wanted something cool and refreshing. I stepped to the bar, looked at a menu and waited. Eventually the bar tender acknowledged me. I asked for fresh orange juice. The looked could have killed. I did get a drink. However I am pretty certain it was canned. Also,not proud at 2. 60 Euro or $3 US. Goto a coffee bar. About 1 euro and happy to see you!

We just had some starters here as we didn't have much time, service was normal leaning towards a bit lax, but that is often the case. The food was freshly prepared and nicely presented. The fried cod balls were delicious. You have a view too of the beautiful clear blue sea of Cadiz.

Siempre que tapeamos en la Quilla disfrutamos de su comida. Hay platos y tapas cosa que se agradece al ser la tapa típico en Andalucía y como andaluz es lo que nos gusta pedir porque pruebas más cosas). Suele estar lleno. La comida es muy rica y también los postres. Uno de los días que fuimos este verano por la noche se levantó aire, habíamos cenado 5 personas y quedamos 3 para los postres. Pedimos cambiarnos dentro pues estábamos con una persona mayor y hacía frío y una camarera nos dijo que sin problema y al ir a levantarnos el camarero responsable nos dijo que no porque las mesas de dentro estaban limpias ya no usan manteles ni dejan platos ni cubiertos ni vasos colocados) Ese detalle no me gusto después que habíamos cenado 5 personas y cada uno había ya gastado unos 18-20 euros por persona y íbamos a pedir postre y hacía frío, estaba vacío dentro y estábamos con una persona mayor...

Buena comida y buenos precios, ubicación me encanta. Pero en verano esta muy lleno.
