Bidra med feedbackWe stopped at this little bakery to get some empanadas. They weren't so great, but we were hungry and needed a quick snack before we took the bus. They warmed them for us what was nice. They had other baked goods that looked good. Food was reasonably expensive.
This place has awesome empanadas for being pre made. The caprese ones where super tasty. The pastries are very good as well, love the dulce de leche filled canoncito (n with a tilda).
Came here while exploring the city and was tempted by the smell of pasties. When we came in, we wanted to try something we couldn't get in Canada, so we picked up a few different types, including Alfajores.
We thought the carne empanadas were excellent, as well as the cheese biscuits and bread. The man at the counter was super friendly and kind too. Good spot to pick up some treats for the trails.
We stopped one night to see what they had to offer. It's a small shop, but we were very happy with offers there. We tried some of their pastries that were good, like their empanadas. The true finds, however, were their prefabricated and wound sandwiches. In particular, their Milan sandwiches, of slightly baked beef, salad and tomatoes for 140 pesos. They were very good and big. More than most would want on a day hike, and better quality than any previous box lunch we had bought from our hotels along our trip. The lady who works the shop is very sweet, has very good English and was a pleasure to treat.
