The food is very good. Breakfast and quiche are my favorite. Excellent cakes and pastries! You have a tented area to eat out now. I'm mentioning this because some people are just gonna eat outside since Covid.

I've been a customer for 30 years. It used to be a great pastry. Their pastries were in decline before they were for Kovid, but still decent. After they were reopened, I almost went completely. It's so badly liked that I tend to drive to Berkeley to go somewhere instead of going 100 yards to get to Fat Apples. Their response to Kovid was to reduce costs by reducing options, reducing some of the pastries, and skipping them to ingredients. They also increased prices. You can now find some of the smallest medium scenarios at some of the highest prices. Her oatmeal cranberry shear went from a beautiful rich texture to dry and not describe. Their cookies also went from rich and moist to crack and tasting largely of flour. And a few examples. I really hope the management is turning everything, but I think they're on loaned time. They do not seem to understand that this is a premium market that is largely driven by quality.

I used to love this place. But that was so long ago. Prices went way, way up, portions, quality, and taste went way, way down. And this started way before the pandemic. They used to have the best pastries, particularly the scones, but those taste like rocks now. The only remaining item I'll still get is the cheese puff.

Fat Apples is the best neighborhood place for breakfast and lunch. The almond danishes are so good and their Kirschkuchen so very German. Love their chicken sandwich and the super yummy fries.

Not to miss the deserts and pastries. they are made on site. This is the best thing El Cerrito has to offer on a weekend for a relaxed brunch. It is filled with great people for a great experience. It's the place to go after work. It's the place to keep one after the office meeting. It is the place to go to the weekend recreation place. It has great food. It is absolutely the place to go done for great food in a good way. The fair is welcoming and yet tasteful. You will enjoy the varied menu every time. It has great drinks. The selection is diverse. The selection will be a safe fire joy for your thirst. You will know how to prepare your favorite drink on your way.
