Strangers West - El Centro

Hip small mother and pop restaurant with local ingredients, house made bread, and many vegan options. I had a delicious veggie sandwich with corn-chowder soup, the Missus had a roasted veggie plate, and the mother-in-law had a juicy cheeseburger. We all have fat and happy. Great quality and generous portions. I will definitely be back for more.

This place was ship delicious, Totally recommend, the Roasted Veggies are to die for, plus the Pizza man what can my wife and I say, we came all the way from San Diego totally worth it. The Co-Owner Ernie super friendly as well.

Very nice small place. The food is good and their pizzas had a good organic taste. If you are a vegetarian i recommend the grill vegetables, very full filing.

You need to know the owner for good service. The food is really good but I’ve been here twice and the owner doesn’t have good customer service he always seems like he’s in a rush. We went in once and he asked us what we were gonna order cause they closed in 20 minutes and he didn’t know if he’d have time to make it. We ended up just getting a pastry. The second time we wanted to just order a pizza and he said they had Mother’s Day special going and we had to get the appetizer pizza pasta and desert because he wasn’t selling anything else but the bundle. Then he comes and said if we can move over cause another group of people we’re gonna sit at our table cause they didn’t have room and he brought them whatever they wanted just to find out it was his family. Very sad you have to know the owner to get good service.

This beer is fantastic! Ernie shared with me the brewing process and all the details behind it. It's wonderful to have such an exciting brewery in El Centro! They also offer cans. Definitely give it a try!
