El Cucharon - El Calafate

It's very tasty place. The best. The cake with lamb is the very fantastic, strong recommendation. With beautiful views of the lake. It must try!!

The best in this place is the service and location. The food was delicious, but generally averaged. We had a better steak in Rustico. There's nothing wrong with it, but nothing unusual. The decor and the surroundings are very beautiful. We had a window table with a view of the lake, which was very beautiful.

This restaurant is moved from 9 de Junio to Calle 2, next to the lake and overlooking a nature reserve. Large modern building with magnificent views and good food. We had ribs and trout.

We saw a good recommendation in the guide of Lonely Planet Argentina and tried it during our first two-day visit to El Calafate. Our meals were really special and delicious! The service was 5 stars like the service! The restaurant appears new and overlooks a nature reserve near the lake. We took a walk after dinner. Our Lendensteaks were the best we had in our 15 days in Argentina and my local specialty lamb dish was wonderful. This was really a must to visit in El Calafate. I thought the prices were reasonable. We went back a week later to our 1 night second visit to El Calafate.

I’m not sure why this place isn’t rated the highest here. This has become our favorite spot hands-down. Food, drinks, service and the view can’t be beat.
