Bidra med feedbackRita's just catered a celebration of life luncheon for my mom. This was a difficult time for me, and Rita's made everything so easy for me. The luncheon was held at St Therese's Parish. Everything was delicious (sandwiches, chips, pasta salad, cookies and brownies). The service was excellent. The buffet-style luncheon was set up beautifully beforehand and Mary made sure everything went smoothly during the luncheon. I could not have had a better catering service. Thank you so much, and special thanks to Mary for being such a thoughtful and considerate host for us. I truly appreciated you!
Rita's is the contract caterer for the El Cajon Elks Lodge. I had a birthday party with 100+ guests. I ordered the 2 street taco buffet including, coffee, iced tea and water. The food was delicious! The service at the event was excellent. Wait staff cleared plates and kept our table carafes full. We had two buffet lines that went fast even though the tacos were made to order. Food was kept warm so my performers could eat after their act. Shawna and Christie were very accommodating with whole room set-up, beyond the serving and guest tables! They even provided a covered table for my own desserts. I'd give five stars except that I was told my linen choices weren't available less than a week before and much confusion on allowing seconds and leftover food allowed to be taken home. Was told Yes and Yes then changed to no on both. As the pluses were so much more than the negatives I would definitely recommend them.
Highly recommend. Great to work with, planned entire menu from out of state. Everyone loved the food. Staff went above and beyond.

The company catered my grandsons baseball closing ceremonies. The food was excellent. They offered 3 kinds of TJ tacos, complete with guac and onions chips and salsa. My problem was with the service. there were clearly 500 plus people at the event and it took at least 30 minutes standing in the hot sun to get your plate. They had 3 tables set with servers. but each table had one serving beans one serving rice and one making your requested tacos.. It was a huge time loss. and standing in the hot sun waiting for food was difficult being as people standing in line would have them fill 3 to 4 plates of three tacos. seriously . If they had one or two serving the beans and rice at one table and 5 or 6 doing up the tacos...................... it would have been so much quicker.
