Olde 80 Bbq Grill - El Cajon

The food was good that I could finally get her attention to get more.

So to be a fun place... we had the bartender RIA, who is so brilliant and attentive that you don't even ask for a drink, it was replaced when your drink was done and she worked inside... the food was great and so child-friendly... I can't wait to come back...??????

So a fun place!! So much to do, it is great for families or a large group of friends. It was very busy, even on a Sunday, so it took a while to get food and drinks, but it was good waiting, and there were games to play and listen to a band while we were waiting. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This is a nice casual bar that we have visited because of the live music that the offer on Saturday afternoons. (2-6 pm) Three of our friends are in a classic rock band called Nasty Habit and we go to hear them. It 's a cool place with lots of seating on the back patio. They have a great rep for BBQ, but I haven 't had it yet... Maybe next time. I like the crowd here... Mostly people in their 50 's and 60 's and mostly couples at least on Saturday afternoons.

Update: I have heard that they have made some important changes. New partners, new menu etc. I haven't been in yet, but I hear good things. Older review: Newest addition to the new name and back to BBQ. The food was very good. Had the tri-tip sandwich and while I usually like a thicker cut, the thin slices were pretty good. Beautiful taste and tenderness. Loved the horse sauce! Nice and hot like horse friends. Causal from door terrace with a beautiful western feeling.
