Chico's Tacos - El Cajon

Excellent busboy. Cleaned our table upon arriving, and catered to us the entire time we were there up to bringing us a bag to take our leftovers home. Well done mijo.Food: 5/5

If I could give this place a -100 I would. We got our refund no problem but this was certainly disappointing on top of DISGUSTING. I bit into my taco and immediately got a rotten smell, I opened it up and there this was in between all the other ground beef. Is that a little roach leg sticking out at the top ?? Even the manager refused to smell it because he knew that was not right. Never again.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the tacos to the hamburger ? was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was quiet, good music was playing and we had s great dinner and evening.Food: 5/5

I think I'm rating this place.high not because of the super delicious food (it's more of a cult following) but because of the nostalgia. We've been gone for over 16 years, so going to Chicos when we go home is like a sloppy kiss from your favorite dog.I mean this with full respect.
