Claddach Kirkibost Centre - Eilean Siar

We were warmly greeted even though they were not officially open yet. The cakes and coffee were delicious, and we enjoyed the wonderful view despite the dreary weather. The shop was charming as well.

I stopped for lunch last week and had a great experience with the food and facilities at this restaurant. While I was there, a cyclist approached me for help with his bike, which had a jammed chain and gears from an incident. Thankfully, the restaurant had a bike stand, pump, and tools outside that we used to fix his bike and get him back on the road. Without these tools, the repair would have been much more challenging.

What a fantastic concept! This restaurant not only benefits the local community, but also caters to tourists. The snacks were incredibly tasty and the service was very friendly. The tables were well-spaced and they followed excellent COVID-19 guidelines. If you can, try to get a seat next to the windows for some beautiful views. Just a heads up, make sure to check their hours in advance as they are not open every day and only operate for limited hours, mainly for lunch service.

Wonderful food, particularly the locally caught crab, and views of the sea. Recommend the cakes! Very friendly and dogs allowed at the outside tables.

We have visited this cafe when visiting N. Uist for many years. The homemade cakes are delicious as are the homemade oat cakes. Great spot for a Filled roll and bowl of soup with a great sea view and efficient and friendly staff. Till next time..
