The (good-made and appealing homepage does not even promise: the summit of good taste! The restaurant name “Schlemmerolymp” does not allow us to think about a sports restaurant or a clubhouse. Is this Greek place just by chance at Ehninger Sportplatz, with a promising view of the green lawn? I couldn't solve the secret at my first visit on Friday for the best lunch, but I'm sure I'm coming back. The Schlemmerolymp is conveniently located close to the A81 motorway and the B14 motorway and offers enough free parking spaces that can be reached in just a few steps. The building itself is not an architectural masterpiece, but I like the spacious covered terrace, through which a lush air also blows on hot days. Here are good and happy, 80 people, the furniture is modern and comfortable, the table decoration lovingly decorated. On the crafts hang flower boxes with surpassing balcony plants. Here we take place, overlooking the sports field and unfortunately also with the background noise of the nearby highway in the ear. (the huge, suitably furnished guest room, approx. I don't want to sneak 100 people, but in good weather, you'd better get dressed... Ahja, free WLan is also available here. Amazing in this restaurant is the daily lunch table (Monday Friday with 11 different, very cheap and lush daily meals. This is very used by the employees of nearby companies (such as IBM and Bertrandt, but also by craftsmen, traders, families and friends). And here everyone really finds something, because there are both traditional Greek dishes such as Soutzoukakia with rice, tomato sauce and side salad for 7.90 Euro or Moussaka with rice and salad for 8.50 Euro – as well as German home kitchens such as carving with pommes or cheese or pork steak with oven potatoes. The restaurant offers a rich menu with grill specialities, fish dishes, oven dishes, salads, various appetizers, desserts and a special children's menu. How many chefs are in the kitchen? In the service we only see an emigrated Griechin, probably the patrons who are fast and reliable, but at the same time with restraint and humble service. Very sympathetic! On a weekday the terrace is very well occupied! I would like to say positively that you can also come here with strollers, roller shutters and possibly even with a wheelchair. The Service Lady was placed immediately with the menu and after the entire order. The Macedonian rose wine (3.70 euros) was shown as 0.2, but was definitely presented as a quarter and was pleasantly cool but not too cold. The Metaxa was presented with a flower vase in a huge cognac vibrator – a real eye-catcher. There were even bigger exaggerations, but more of them later. For lunch we chose a gyro in Metaxasauce from the oven (8.20 euros), as well as German cheese spoons (6.90 euros). Unfortunately, the dressing was pushed down so that the upper layer was relatively low in taste. We ordered some pepper and salt that came to the table in huge, well 50cm high mills. Impressive! The Gyros was served in a beautiful shape and tasted just delicious in the rose-colored, mild metaxasauce. There were (some lazy foods. The part was so huge that you really had to fight with it. The beetles were also luxurious, in which the Convenience-Speletts were combined with Gouda and baked in the oven. Delicious and very, very rich! We both had to fight. At the end of the coffee (2.50 euros, sugar and a cookie were not saved, but the milk was forgotten. No matter how little lapsus you can look. Otherwise, it was about service, cleanliness and food.
