Le Cottage - Éguzon-Chantôme

Popped to a restaurant in San Sebastián for lunch but it was closed. A local recommended we go to Le Cottage. Didn’t know it but it was a 5 minute drive, so decided to try it. So glad we did. Stopped there asked if they allowed dogs, which they did, so we went in. A really lovely, eclectic decor, lots of bears! Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Ordered salad starters, which were huge, fresh and good. Main courses were steak and trout. Really fresh and extremely were cooked. Crème brûlée, ice cream and a Charlotte for desserts. All excellent and extremely good value. Will definitely be going back. A great find.

Have been going to Le Cottage for some years. Always a warm welcome from owners and staff. Good beers, wine and food.

Atmosphere and setting is beautiful, amongst the teddy bears for company! Great food, all freshly prepared, but would keep for a special occassion as a little on the pricey side. However, they accommodated us as we arrived early, despite being fully booked.

En visite des ruines de Crozan arrive 12h30 heure du repas, hélas les restos de Crozant sont complet, en souvenir le restaurant de Chantôme à 8 km qui nous reçoit avec le sourire, nos deux repas avec qualité des mets. décor différent et service comme il se doit. absolument satisfait.
