My family and I went through the drive thru. My wife and daughter both ordered the three piece fish dinner and both got fries and coleslaw. I ordered the big spicy fish sandwich. I really enjoyed my spicy fish sandwich which had lettuce and I think with both tarter sauce and mayo. It had two pieces of fish which were generous portions were very tasty and just the right amount of spices in the batter . But I didn't care for the fries which tasted like they were sitting around for a while with a cold fishy taste to them. My wife and daughter liked their fries so I guess they got fries fresh from the frier. They both liked their fish but didn't care for the coleslaw. I had a blast here, despite the fact that I made some mistakes. I wish I could ask my friends to get out. I wish I could save them, one by one, but everything is gone I often ask myself if I am the next one. The honey mustard is 10/10; ask about the seafood feast. Dietary restrictions: Since the fryer oil is rotated down the line daily, there is always theoretically one fryer where just chicken, fries, and sides are fried in, so if you have a shrimp or fish allergy you might be fine. Let’s be honest with ourselves tho: everything is getting fried in 350 degree shortening and if you are allergic to shrimp and/or fish what are you doing at a Captain D’s? I must say the fish game is starting to get in the toilet. This doesn't go against the staff it actually goes against the establishment itself. When you sell a piece of fish that resembles a ruler and your prices are still the same that's a problem. I remember in my younger days when you actually got a filet of fish. The fillets of fish now resemble an eel or dwarf pencil fish. I'm glad that they now have grilled options as far as the main entree.
